The Surrounding Area
Situated in the middle of the Cap de Nao peninsula, the market town of Jalon is at the head of a rich agricultural valley surrounded by a dramatic mountain landscape. Although steeped in a rural tradition, it is only half an hour drive from the smart seaside resorts of Denia, Javea, Moraira and Calpe, and over 30km of beautiful coastline.

• The A7 runs between Valencia and Alicante, we are slightly closer to Alicante. The A7 does split into a coastal route and a route via the Interior, make sure you take the coastal route, sometimes referred to as the AP7.
  
• Exit the A7 autopista at junction 63 and turn right on to the N322 towards Alicante which will take you through Benissa.
  
• Once you are through the town there is a right turn signed to Jalon/Xalo 7km (the CV750).
  
• Follow this to Jalon but just before going into the town turn left directly in front of the petrol station, up a 1km long straight lane.
  
• At the top is a righthand corner which takes you to a T junction.
  
• Turn left at the T junction, this is the main Bernia road going up into the mountains.
  
• After a small bridge and an S bend there is a right turn signposted 'Les Murtes'.
  
• Follow this road past about 3km of olives and almonds and you will find Caserio del Mirador near the top.

The nearest mainline railway station is in Denia and the nearest national route bus stop is in Benissa if you are looking to arrive by public transport.  Let us know when you expect to arrive we can organise a taxi.
